Community involvement
Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.
Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)
At Porters Creek PS, our P&C is a passionate group of parents, carers, and community members who work alongside the school to support students and strengthen our community. They help with planning, fundraising, events, and volunteering—always promoting the best interests of our school.
Joining the P&C is a wonderful way to meet other families, share ideas, and contribute to our school’s future. Meetings are relaxed, informative, and always wrapped up on time (we know life is busy!). They’re held at 6:00 PM in Weeks 4 and 8 of each term, giving you the chance to hear about school initiatives and have your say.
Whether you’d like to offer ideas, lend a hand at events, or simply stay informed, there’s a place for you—and we’d love to welcome you on board!
